Today we are fortunate enough to feature a very special Throwback Thursday courtesy of Braeden Barnard.

” In the Early 2000’s, Vancouver was lucky enough to have some of the biggest pros and Darren Bolton behind the lens showcasing Vancouver’s scene. Tons of local spots that are still getting hit today were ridden and a few magazine covers in there.

KILL BMX was tagged all over the local parks when RDS was trying to have a hard image on the west coast. Bitching on the daily until truck barns K.O’d Chalmers and threw him in Hastings.

This video is the ABD reference manual around here”

Featuring Jay Miron, Dave Osato, Dustin Guenther, Rob Sigaty,  Darren Bolton, Ron Mercer, Dom Mach, Wade Nelson, Greg Nicholson, Rob Parsons, Luke Hurdle, Jason Enns, Jamie McIntosh, Darcy Saccucci, amongst other Canadian legends, this is truly the earliest of Canadian BMX in all it’s glory.

“Go Make your own video, support your own scene

Skatepark rules: -no bikes – no pegs  FUCK THAT” Kill BMX

All in skatepark (just outside of London, Ontario) are hosting their third annual All In Full House jam December 5th and 6th. It sounds like the 5th will be mainly street/ jam format style, sunday will consist of runs and Saturday night will be a good time all around. The park has come a long way, they now have an amazing looking bowl along with a ton of rad stuff in the park. If you’ve been looking for a reason to check out this park, here it is. Also, join the event on facebook here.

Growing up the Valleyfield park was one of the only skateparks around my town (20 minutes away). This past year V-field built a much needed new and improved park and it’s good, to the point MTL homies are making the 45 minute drive out to ride it.

The Manish X La Cribs homies prove that you can make a park edit interesting to watch with good filming, editing and of course good riding. Featuring: Arnaud Paquin, Lukas Adams, Camilo Lapointe-Nascimento, Bruno Lessard, Kevin Ouimet, Max Mcdermott, Gabriel Duquette.

There’s been a ton of hype around the fact the island of Montreal will FINALLY have a decent outdoor skatepark. In typical fashion, it has just finished construction (slightly delayed from the later summer anticipated finish), which is perfect timing for winter to hit. Nonetheless it looks amazing and will hopefully help the inner MTL scene.

Vincent Guay with gives us a quick run through of the new park on a busy opening weekend.
