Zach St Clair Tag

Zach St Clair is a young Timmins/Markham/TO shredder who is known for his riding and as of late spot searching. Maybe a lesser known thing about Zach is that he’s also very talented behind the lens, wether it be filming or taking pictures. He was nice enough to put together this awesome 2015 photogallery for NE featuring some of his Ontario homies, check it.

  • Ryan eles with a crook 180 at a super sick spot in the city. Ryan slammed into the wall hard atleast 3 times halfcabbing out of this one.
  • Spencer with a toothhanger to 180 into traffic on a busy road in the east side.
  • Joel Fortin getting so much pop mid hard 180 bar. Jeremy Deme putting in work behind the lens as always.
  • Ryan Eles with a heavy nose bonk 180 on the bench and down the 2 block for the lens of Jeremy Deme on a cold day in Montreal.
  • DWOK member Jack leonard doing a stylish nollie 360 down this sick 2 block in Montreal.
  • Joel Fortin assuming the position to capture some biking for the Northern Embassy "Out Biking" mixtape filled with sick clips from a heavy selection of Joel's homies.
  • Garrett Kholer popping off this little wallride into a parking garage during a session this summer. Keep an eye on this kid, he learns new tricks everytime he rides and isn't slowing down.
  • Spencer Ryan learning new tricks at the spot with his first ever pegs to switch whip. Go watch his radio edit another time to see the footage.
  • Joel Fortin with another picture perfect example of how much pop he has.
  • Often behind the camera but not in this case. Jeremy Deme with a tight wallride. Presence Last Stand in the works as we speak.
  • Mandatory clip review after Ryan Eles pulled his line clean while probably listening to some thugger.
  • Ryan eles with a switch crook 180 crook indian at a key warmup spot in montreal on the OGCxMTL trip this october
  • Dylan Legget with a big 180 barspin to end a line, he has been quietly killing it in torontofor a minute. #skavageK (Photo by: Liam Regan)
  • Northern Embassy stickerslap on the docks.
  • Dylan Leggett with a scenic barspin in the fountains at dundas square.
  • Spencer with a pegs hard 180 bar on this dope out rail. Tyler Rizzi getting low for the angle.
  • Spencer with another banger. Ledge ride to nose bonk 360 into the road. Shout out to gold teeth.
  • Mad man Spencer Ryan getting gnarly with a gap to switch hanger going full speed, as always while filming for his Radio bikes edit.
  • Ryan with a switch pegs hard as seen in his Federal X OGCBMX edit. Ryan sessioned the rail with a few tricks then banged out the switch pegs hard second try.
  • Joel "working" on his tables and doing them super good at a fun tranny spot in toronto.
  • The Sus crew leader Mike Depetrillo sending a deece tailwhip after only straight jumping it once at a sick A-frame roof spot while we were out cruising this fall.
  • Brandon and I took a day trip to Barrie to film with the homie Joel Fortin. Webster on a switch hanger attempt moments before shoulder checking the pavement.

Zach St Clair is everything that is good in a sea of young riders today. At only 17 years young, Zach is humble, well spoken, talented, constantly spot searching, and takes pride in being in front of and behind the lens. Having spent the last few winters a walk away from Joyride150, it’s no secret that Joyride had a significant impact on Zach’s riding. Unlike alot of riders today, Zach can shred anything, and very well. This is Zach’s first real full street edit, he spent most of 2015 working on it and it shows. We couldn’t be more stoked to share it with you on NE.

Read on for a short Q&A we did with Zach, along with a few pictures taken while filming this edit.

I suck at video descriptions, normally I would go with something along the lines of  “I made this video of my friends biking because it’s fun.” But I feel like I could probably say something slightly more interesting about this one. Basically I spent the summer carrying my VX around, annoying as many people as I could to let me film them. After about a dozen mini DV tapes, a broken ribbon cable in my viewfinder and a few trips; (Montreal, Toronto, London and a couple other places) I somehow I ended up with 8 and a half minutes of footage. So thanks to everyone who was down to film something for this! *praying hands emoji* And thanks to the Long Island connects aka The Whammo squad for sending a bunch of awesome clips through. Also massive thanks to Jeremy Deme for letting me premiere this on the site, and for being the man and holding down The Embassy for the last 5 years.

Some of the homies were in Montreal for the Taz Pro/Am contest last week and put together this quick edit during a session at Le Taz. Featuring Dillon Lloyd, Joel Fortin, Ryan Eles, Zach St Clair and Spencer Ryan.

On Friday February 20th, Bell helmets hosted ‘Bell Jam’ at Joyride150. Bell helmets flew in San Diego native Connor Lodes for the jam.

Although sessions were had throughout the park, with the new A frame rail in the street room a best trick comp was help for Am and Expert/Pro classes.

Filmed by Jeremy Deme and Chris Cadot. Additional filming by Tyler Rizzi.

Thanks to Joyride150 for letting us film the Jam!

Montreal’s Imported Crew took a trip to Joyride 150 a couple weeks ago and this is the result. Vlad killed it on the filming and editing, Justin Hughes, Brad Blouin, Zach St Clair, Mike D and others killed it in the riding department. Justin’s last two clips are nuts, can’t remember the last time I saw a crank arm 180 bar.

Tyler Rizzi hooked up this dope edit of Zach St Clair shredding some of his local spots/parks surrounding Markham, ON. Zach kills it and Tyler did an awesome job putting this together. Keep your eye on this kid!

Not another indoor park edit! With warmer weather starting to hit most of Canada (sorry to the bys in Newf, it’s coming!) we figured it would be a good time to wrap this one up. Featuring Corey Dewey, Albert Krolikowski, Greg Henry, Jordan Krupa, Mikael Cardin, Jeremy Deme, Dillon Lloyd, Jake Montgomery, Etienne Leblanc, Olivier Rousseau, Justin Kirnan, Francis Pasquino, Jason Kearnan, Pascal Harvey Cote, Luke St Clair, Zach St Clair, Jordan Petrov, Chijioke Okafo, and Spencer Bryant Longo. Thanks to Joyride 150 and Le Taz for keeping us sane all winter.
