Lots going on over at BMX Gallery 4130. They’re holding a winter contest where the best BMX & snow picture wins a Cult prize pack (Cult bars, Cult chain, Cult hat and Cult pedals).

“All you need to do is post a picture to Instagram with the #bmxgallery4130 and you’re entered. That’s it. It could be a tire track in the snow, your buddy firing a rail in the snow, or stair hop with the snow shovelled.”

These hats look amazing and will be gone quicker than this NHL season. If you’re in Calgary grab one quick and if you’re from out of town, order one off their new online store here.

After running our Embassy X Quintin Winter Contest for over a month and sorting through all of our submissions, we are happy to announce that our winner is Kyle Lafleur from Sudbury, Ontario! Kyle put a lot of time and energy in to his video submission, which includes everything from games of shinny, winter bonfires, cold street riding, a garage ramp, and skateboarding. Kyle’s video is the perfect example of making the best with what you’ve got and enjoying the seasons no matter what. You’ll be receiving your package soon Kyle. We’ve teamed up with Quintin (who else makes hats as good as these guys?) to hold a winter contest and give away our last 1 year anniversary hat. The contest is simple, you have until March 1st to submit what you do to get through the Canadian winter. It can be anything: pond hockey, snowboarding, indoor riding, goin hard in the Mac, getting stizzed, whatever. You can submit it by photo, edit, writeup, whatever you can think of. Be creative! All entries should be emailed to northernembassy@gmail.com. The winner will be chosen by the Embassy crew and announced shortly after the March 1st deadline. We will be posting up some of our favourite submissions throughout the contest. Have fun with this and share it with your friends on Facebook.
