Last month a small contingent of BMXFU folk took a trip to Akron, OH for a quick weekend of riding, filming, farting, and drinking. Trent Barker shot photos along the way and today we bring you a small gallery from their time there. Check out more after the link below.
A few weeks ago, a big FU crew drove down to Akron and spent the weekend grinding big rails and bigger women. Beers were drank, tits were sucked, farts were whiffed, and we rode a little bit too. I shot a few photos in between sampling the many wonderful beverages that Ohio gas stations had to offer.

I am by no means a talented filmer or editor, but I do pull out my point and shoot camera (or in most cases my phone) from time to time to record. I collected a bunch of random stuff I had filmed between January 2012 and January 2013 and put together this short video.
In the last year I visited both ends of the country to stay with friends and made plenty of new ones, as well as had numerous friends come and stay with me in Toronto. At times I may jokingly call myself an old man and complain about my aches and pains, but when I look at my life and the people I surround myself with I cannot help but feel young and invigorated. This video is full of those people and places, as well as a few cute animals.

Fans of this site should be more than familiar with Trent Barker‘s photos by now. He’s still recovering from a bad foot injury from last summer, but is always steadily shooting and collecting photos in and around Toronto. He sent over a collection of ten great photos from his summer so far. Click below to check out the full gallery, and be sure to head over to the Ten Pack website for a recent gallery he also shot of an Animal tour here.

We’ve profiled work from Trent and Scott Barker since we first launched the site, and their submissions keep getting better. Back in the spring Trent visited Scott in London, England, and they both took a trip to Budapest somewhere in the middle. Trent sent us a selection of photos that they both took on the trip for everyone to enjoy. Click below to check them out and read what he had to say.
Trent Barker is the man behind the lens, and here he proves he’s the man in front of the lens. The edit was cut short, and you’ll see why. The last clip caused Trent to get 30 stitches, 20 staples and 2 pins in his foot. Heal up quick Trent and get shredding again soon. Thanks for hooking this up.
Before Trent Barker ended up in the hospital with a bunch of metal bars going through his busted foot, he shot this photo of Bobby Hill doing a top side smith to 180. You can follow Trent’s photos on his tumblr.
BMX brothers are nothing new. Lots of brothers grow up riding together. Brothers that have a passion for both BMX and photography however is rare. Scott (left) and Trent (right) Barker both come from Southern Ontario, ride bikes, and shoot photos constantly. I asked them both a few questions about themselves, their work, and their favourite photos. Click below to see more.
