Last night in Las Vegas was the world premiere of The Hunt BMX video contest. If you’ve been following this site for a while you would know that some time back we were asked to participate. Now finally after many months and countless hours searching, riding, filming, and editing we are happy to announce that Dillon Lloyd won second place with his video part filmed and edited by our own Jeremy Deme for Northern Embassy. We couldn’t be more stoked about the achievement for both Dillon and Jeremy. Congratulations go out to the both of them for all their hard work. If you live in Canada, don’t forget that you will get your first chance to see all the whole video when we premiere it after Le Taz for the Pepsi Pro/Am Contest.

The first of a few Canadian premieres for The Hunt DVD is happening October 22nd, at the E51 Pepsi Pro Am contest at the TAZ skatepark in Montreal (8931 Ave. Papineau, Montreal). The premiere is going down immediately following the contest which should be around 6-7pm. There will be a few other premieres going down in Canada after this one, we will be posting those up as soon as dates and locations are confirmed.  If your anywhere around Montreal make the trip out to see this crazy dvd and also Dillon’s ridiculous part…

Embassy’s part/ with Dillon Lloyd in the Hunt has two clips in the Progression Impression Best Trick. Make sure to tweet @THEHUNTBMX that your stoked on Dillon’s clips to help him get votes.

“After launching The Hunt back in the spring, Pro-Tec came to us an wanted to kick down an extra grand for the rider who really took riding to the next level.  We came up with The Pro-Tec Progression Impression Best Trick Bonus for $1000.  While the judges are making their final decisions on the top-ten riders who will be featured in the final DVD, we used their input to cut this best-trick reel and we want you to give us your best picks.  This footage is made of up of stand-out tricks nominated by the judges and the filmers, and Will Stroud will be looking at your tweets when he makes the final call on who get the cheddar.  This is going to be a tough one.” The Hunt

On May 26th, Justin Kosman @ The Hunt hit us up about entering The Hunt video contest. With only two months until the deadline, we spent a couple days debating/thinking who could film a part in such short amount of time, Dillon Lloyd confirmed he was down and I agreed to put in work behind the lens. These are some photos from the two months of filming for Dill’s part. Be sure to check the trailer here and wait to see the full part… just wait.

This has been in the works for a little while now, but we were invited to join The Hunt video contest. We quickly asked Dillon Lloyd and then Jeremy got to work filming with him in Vancouver and Montreal for the last while. This is the trailer for his part. Click the 720p option to watch it in better quality. Judging begins soon, and we will be up against some heavy competition. Stay tuned for further information about this contest.
