Scott Barker Tag

While the name suggests alot of drinking, Scott Barker and friends put in work on the streets of Toronto, ON and London, UK ,outside of drinking hours for this street flick. Click here for a full interview on the dvd and show the FU homies some support by grabbing a copy!
Pretty much one of the most entertaining trailers ever made.

Unbeknownst to a lot of people that aren’t from Toronto, there is a small island south of the city appropriately titled Toronto Island. It is the exact opposite of the rest of the city, in that it is quiet, peaceful, full of green space, has (relatively) clean beaches, and not populated with cars. It also has a very small and modest skatepark.

We decided to take a trip over for the afternoon to see what fun we could have with it, soak up some sun, and have a BBQ. Before we got much riding in we found ourselves dodging the rain, hiding under gazebos, and sharing food with other visitors, before we ultimately got to the beach for some sunny skies during a break in the weather.

Check out this short video of our Toronto Island afternoon with riding from Chijioke Okafo, Chris Cadot, Trent Barker, and Scott Barker. Filmed and edited by Chris Cadot.

Scott Barker (who’s work we love and have featured in the past) releases an online zine with almost every BMXFU video release. This time it’s a month or so after the DVD has dropped, but better late than never. Scott has released the zine as a separate Tumblr site featuring a HUGE selection of photos by himself and numerous other photographers, as well as some audio mixtapes and short video edits. Check out the BMXFU Zine and don’t stop scrolling.

We’ve profiled work from Trent and Scott Barker since we first launched the site, and their submissions keep getting better. Back in the spring Trent visited Scott in London, England, and they both took a trip to Budapest somewhere in the middle. Trent sent us a selection of photos that they both took on the trip for everyone to enjoy. Click below to check them out and read what he had to say.

BMX brothers are nothing new. Lots of brothers grow up riding together. Brothers that have a passion for both BMX and photography however is rare. Scott (left) and Trent (right) Barker both come from Southern Ontario, ride bikes, and shoot photos constantly. I asked them both a few questions about themselves, their work, and their favourite photos. Click below to see more.
