This is one for all the readers in Vancouver to make it out to. Riley McMaster is throwing a zine and video premiere at Ride On Bike Shop (19th and Main) tomorrow night (June 1st) at 8:00pm. He’ll be releasing his newest zine, Chilling Spree, and premiering a new mix edit. All the details are below. Make it out and support this event.

Death of a Homeowner. Gnarwhale’s extinction. Chilling Spree prevails.

Finally finished my new 48 page full colour zine, CHILLING SPREE, with tales and photographic evidence of riding/tripping around North America with contributions from Chester Jones, Jordan Hango, Randi Oh, Carl Arnett.

Also going to premiere the new mix edit feature a whole bunch of the homies.

A bunch of new shirt designs will be dropping this night, so many freshly tied and dyed creations coming from my own hands.

BYOB. At the bikeshop.
Like we need another excuse to party at the bikeshop.

Zines and shirts will be on sale. Get peakin’

With the speed that the internet moves it’s here today and gone tomorrow with most BMX videos. This was one of my favourite videos that we posted from all of last year and I think it deserves another watch. Check out the Big Baby Carl Arnett, filmed and edited by Riley McMaster.

This is Jason Anthony. Jason Teet took his pegs off for a while and gets ridiculous on a bunch of Van setups you’d ride by and probably not think twice about riding. He also discusses his current rig, put together very nicely by Riley McMaster.

This is sick!!!
“Hey buds you should check out this new Carl Arnett part I whipped together. Carl has always been killing it and this is the product of slowly filming clips over the last year. Mostly filmed around BC, with some clips from our week out in Minnesota. That curved wall to drop in Minneapolis was shot a couple of hours after our plane home had left. Who can keep track of what day flights are on when you’re having such a good time?”
– Riley McMaster

This might be the corniest thing I’ve ever said/written in my entire life but honestly all 6 of these edits are winners. It was really tough to chose just one, each edit is so awesome in it’s own way. Read on to see 6 awesome videos, including the winning edit.

Fans of Riley McMaster‘s work should be familiar by now of his zine series, No Bummers. He just released the third and final instalment entitled The Ender of The Bender, in a beautiful wooden cover with a hand sewn leather spine and full bleed colour pages. The quality and care that went in to this project elevates this from merely a zine to a collectors piece. The content is focused on photographs from a cross country bike ride followed by a 3 week van trip across the southern United States. Riley explains it best:

NO BUMMERS 3: The Ender of the Bender. The final chapter in the series that has travelled America back and forth over and over. Spanning over 3 months the content reaches the unexpected events and sights that are experienced by a veteran America enthusiast. Riding a bike from one of side of the continent just to hop in a camper van and take an absurdly extended route back home. Tales of Doing The Most//Touririzing//Freedom//Living in a van down by the river//way more cool stuff.
