Today we are stoked to bring you this awesome Matt Perrin X Shawn Franz split edit, filmed and edited by Colin Thiessen. These two guys absolutely kill it, add a bunch of sick Winnipeg spots to the equation and this is the result. So good!!
“Matt Perrin and Shawn Franz 2015 summer mix.
Winnipeg street killer clean up on WPG’s biggest and best spots.”
**This edit is stickied for a couple days**

Ian Peters and company travelled over 6,000 kms to ride different skateparks and explore different cities and have a good time along the way. This was filmed all over Manitoba as well as in Regina SK, Kenora ON & Chicago IL.
A new Colin Thiessen edit/project with fresh Wayne Hartman footage, hell yes!! Featuring Matt Perrin, Colin Thiessen, Wayne Hartman and Shawn Franz in the streets of Winnipeg, MB.
A road tip I took part in to Montana from Winnipeg in search of beer, bars, barbeques and bowls.
Matt Perrin recently published his first issue of Scene Zine, a zine dedicated to the BMX scene in and around Winnipeg, MB. It’s a great 32 page, black and white publication with a mix of interviews and photos that gives some insight in to what makes up their community. The Manitoba scene always appears to be a tight knit group, and this zine is evidence of that. Matt covers not only riders living in the core of Winnipeg, but also the surrounding smaller towns such as Morden, Brandon, Komenda, and more. You can find photos and interviews with Ian Peters, Shawn Hildebrandt, Colin Thiessen, Shawn Franz, and the crew behind Da Peg Show. People that know me know that I believe that printed matter matters, and it’s great to see people continue to put time and energy towards making tangible projects like this to share with their friends.
Matt hooked us up with a bunch of copies so we’re going to pass them on to you. The first five people to email us at northernembassy@gmail.com with their FULL mailing address will get a copy. This is only open to residents of Canada, and one copy per person. Check out some more photos of the zine’s contents below, and try to be one of the first five people to send us an email!
Matt Perrin hooked up this beauty of an edit featuring a couple of Winnipeg’s finest, Colin Thiessen, Shawn Franz and friends.
“Colin Thiessen and Shawn Franz have been riding hard all year round and this is what I was lucky enough to capture of these two Winnipeg shredders! Colin is one steezy street rider and ramp destroyer who rides fast and keeps it simple. Franz has a deep bag of INSANELY technical tricks and lives up to his nick name ‘SHOWTIME’. Watch out for this guy next summer and give both of these guys a fist pound when you see them.”
– Matt Perrin
This is dope, Matt Perrin put together this edit of Wayne Hartman shredding around the Winnipeg/Kenora area over the last two summers. Any footage of Wayne is always amazing and this is no expection!
