On the west coast of Canada, we are more than fortunate to have a wide variety of A class concrete parks at our disposal. Here, we pay homage to one of our favourites Metro Towns, Bonsor Skatepark. Often during the summer, we’ll find ourselves having a chill session with a few good homies.

A bunch of rad Vancouver and Victoria, BC locals in this one. “Sometimes immigrant problems aren’t all bad.” Kerr Bilsland

Riders: Thomas Arden, Jordan Fair, Chance Campbell, Jordan Hango, Jesse Hildebrandt, Evan Farmer, Riley McMaster and Jason Teet.

Kerr just hit us up with his last and final North American Street Jingle mix. Kerr has recently relocated to Glasgow, Scotland from Victoria, BC. How fitting that Kerr drops this feel good homie mix on Canada Day. There are some real creative moves in this. Give it a watch!

This great mix of the island boys, I mean “Dads“, was filmed during a road trip through California. Kerr and his buds ended up at a BMX sanctuary in Fresno, CA and camped out. Hang out through the lifestyle segment and watch Mike and Dan shred along with a few homies.

At the beginning of January, Dan Irwin, Mike Carroll and myself decided to get out of the shit storm that is a Canadian winter and head for a ten day road trip through Cali. It’s always been a dream on mine to be able to go to there and it couldn’t of been any better. From sleeping in the ghetto, to staying in BMX sanctuary’s out in the mountains the trip had it all. I brought along four disposables with me but I lost one in Portland and the other had to be sent away. The photo’s below are from one Black and white disposable and a colo disposable from Sacramento to Santa Cruz. We got off to a great start for 2014 and now I just want to get back back out there.

Kerr put together another dope Victoria edit and wrote this which couldn’t describe it better:

“I haven’t put out a BMX video in quite a while now, truthfully I haven’t felt much like posting any videos. These last couple weeks I’ve been feeling pretty nostalgic and been thinking a lot about this past year. Victoria’s lost a lot of riders this year, it’s weird going to the park and not being able to ride with people you’ve become good friends with and known for a while. There’s a few of us still out here though and with the recent revival of One Six there’s a tonne of kids on BMX’s at VW which I haven’t seen since I started coming to Victoria. Earlier in December (on Mason Prouse’s birthday) a few of us met up at to ride the One six ramp since the weather had been shit. The session got pretty heavy so I pulled out the camera and we banged this out. I have a few other videos saved up that I’ll be dropping over the next few weeks, 2013 was sick but 2014’s going to be even better, StreetJingle Vol 1’s almost done but I could always use more footage so anyone that’s been itching to film or just ride Vics street get at me. Thanks to my friends for making this year the best yet….Stay for 2014.” – Kerr Bilsland
