Jeremy Deme Tag

The Presence crew and videos have become synonymous with Canadian BMX. Heavy hitting visuals and chill vibes throughout. It’s a treat to see another stunning project coming our way from Jeremy Deme and friends. Presence will be releasing ‘Last Stand’ as their DVD project…we can only hope for a few more encores after that.

Last summer we put together the ‘Stay Glad it’s Summer mix’ edit (see below) and it was probably the funnest thing I filmed all year. I’ve been meaning to put this together for quite a while now but better later than never. Northern Embassy 2013 Summer Mix compiled of a bunch of random footage from the past few months. Featuring Dillon Lloyd, Jeff Evans, Albert Krolikowski, Dave Laliberte, Mike King, Luke Santucci, Corey Dewey, Jeremy Deme, Matt Desson, Jason Teet, ‘Skinny’ Jeff Bedard, Jordan Hango, Greg Flag, and Sophie

Dillon had a layover day in Vancouver Saturday May 25th, on his way from Montreal to Hong Kong for the Eclat Kings of Kong trip. He actually did a fair amount of drinking the night before, which lead to a layover/hangover Saturday.

What started out as a rainy day ended up being an awesome day, between finding a bunch of dry spots and riding with some good friends/Canadian legends, we made the best of Dillon’s Vancouver layover/hangover.

I’ve always been a big fan of seeing winter as downtime, basically a reason to keep me really stoked to ride outside all spring, summer and fall. The best way to get through the long winter is to keep busy with other projects, whether it be hockey, snowboarding or riding indoors. During the good old Presence days, in the heart of winter, during likely one of my favorite winters, I decided to film a few different edits to have some what of a series drop as soon as spring hit. With an awesome group of friends and the amazing UAB indoor park, it was an amazing winter. You’ll notice some footage of a very young Dillon Lloyd, Another fun fact about this edit is that the taz edit was actually filmed in the first weeks of the Taz being opened.

K.Will came to Montreal for a week and proceeded to shred UAB. I’m pretty sure there’s only a few people out there who have ever done a disaster barspin to barspin out and Kevin did them as good as anyone out there. “What else do you want?”

Dillon in his early stages of Diller. Dewey and Greg killing it as usual

Filmed in the first 2 spring sessions of the year (as you can still see a bunch of snow on the ground). A lot of these clips are pretty chill, but is there anything better than riding outside after the long winter hibernation?

While a good amount of Canadian riders were filming for our Summer of Fun contest Canada Day long weekend, a few of us wanted to take a trip and also enjoy the long weekend. The original idea was to head to the Victoria but the weather there was looking sketchy, Vancouver weather was in full effect and it looked like everywhere besides the interior was guaranteed rain. We rode a bit on Friday evening in Coquitlam, made plans Saturday and headed towards the interior Sunday morning. We’ve started to receive edits for the Summer of Fun contest and we are very anxious to show you all of them but in the mean time here’s a little edit we threw together of our own Summer of Fun Canada Day long weekend. Featuring Jeff Evans, Jeff Bedard, Marc Boudreau and myself (Jeremy Deme) with guest appearance from Adam Piatek and his buddy.

We’re stoked to present to you Dillon Lloyd’s 2nd place video part in The Hunt 2011. This edit represents a super fun 2 months of filming in Vancouver with my boy Dillon Lloyd. I’m sure most of you already know Dillon is an incredible rider, it might seem crazy to say but watching this part now, I feel that some of this footy is actually dated, based on how much more ridiculous Dillon has gotten in the past year. Between killing it at Simple Session and missing qualifying by one spot, 7th place in street at Rebel Jam, crazy shit in our Barcelona DVD, getting hooked up by Eclat, amongst other things, I feel extremely confident to say that this kid has big things ahead. I hope you enjoy this part as much as I enjoyed putting it together with Dillon. If you missed it check this out for a some random pictures from the making of Dillon’s part.

If you haven’t gotten a copy of our Embajada En Barcelona DVD yet, you’re missing out. If you buy it through our shop you will get a copy of our Bueno zine that goes a long with it, and this photo might make a bit more sense.

To give you a bit of a back story, the airline company lost Jeremy’s bag for the first couple days of our trip, so he rented this sweet bike to keep up with everyone as he filmed. While sessioning this bump spot with everyone, he still wanted to get rad on it, and charged at it all the same. The look on his face was priceless, and the bike held up.

I’ve been slacking on the Embassy edits lately but I’m stoked on this one. Stay Glad Summer Mix featuring Justin Kirnan, Justin Hughes, Matt Desson, Greg Flag, James Steele, Prashant Gopal, Dillon Lloyd, Loren Lyftogt, Ras Gravesen, Ryan Hiebert, Andy Roode, Matt Ridgeway, Taylor Elvy, special guests and myself. It’s sunny and warm, stay glad and ride bikes.
