Spot lord Silva has done it again. At this point he has a sixth sense about spot location, and is probably riding your parents pool right now. Indoor pools, the finest cellar doors, and pegless X-up grinds can be expected here. Who’s house did he have to break into for that first spot? Look out for Part 2 coming soon titled “Half Full”.

Chris Silva says he’s not getting any younger (he just entered level 3) and hates sitting on old footage, so he decided to upload his section from the latest ICC DVD that premiered just last month. This part is almost entirely full of cell phone footage, and look for plenty of tricks out of full pipes that you wouldn’t expect. You can go back and read out interview with him about this DVD here and pick up a copy of it on the ICC webstore for just $3.50.

This coming Saturday, June 14th at Dufferin Grove Park in Toronto, Chris Silva will be premiering the 5th in the series of Inner City Circle videos. Come out when the lights in the park go off around 11:00 and Chris will have his pirate premiere set up and airing his video in the open for everyone. Copies will be available, along with limited ICC merchandise. This is a public park, so please no bozo behaviour if you want events and places like this to continue to happen.

With a new video coming out, and an ICC archive website launched, I thought I’d ask Chris a little bit about this project, ICC history, and more. Read what he had to say below, and we’ll see you at the park on Saturday.

While doing some cleaning in our apartment this evening, my roommate stumbled upon this old clipping from Now Newspaper in Toronto from January 2004, written by Colin Field about the now long defunct ICC Warehouse. While being published almost ten years ago, I think the same sentiment and ideology could be said about any indoor ramp setup anywhere in Canada even now. Take a closer look and read it after the link below.

This past Saturday, December 4th, Toronto’s Inner City Circle premiered their new video. After some time since their last release, George Carijutan put a video together with full parts from Chris Silva, Byron Lo, George Carijutan, and Drifter Dave while broken up with a mix part, pools/trails part and a mini garage ramp part. The premiere brought out a diverse crowd with ICC alumni, Mike Wilkinson, Rexdale Jimmy, Mike Heaton, some younger Toronto riders, and even a crew from Niagara Falls. If you want to watch a video that portrays street riding in the city, without over editing and a ‘raw’ look and feel to it, look no further. Not really sure how to get a copy, but they will likely be popping up soon (someone let us know). Click below to see a few more poorly shot photos from the evening.
