A few weeks ago I was at what is arguably one of the worst, but my favourite, skate parks in Toronto and it seemed like everyone that is local to there was out riding. Then Brandon Webster and Mike Gray showed up with Justin Browne and the camera came out. Justin Browne put together this solid short edit with Webster, Chijioke Okafo, Chris Silva, and Chris Cadot. You can also check out the video with Chijo we did at the same park here, and look for something we are working on based on Duff Grove later this summer. If you are near the park (Dufferin Street, just south of Bloor) look for a new ramp we will be donating there next week.

Jake Montgomery coming through with this dope mix of outdoor and indoor early spring shredding. Featuring most of the usual BMXFU suspects, this edit has a dope vibe and will make you even more stoked for an actual spring to hit.

Brad Hill recently took a trip down to Austin, TX with Jordan Krupa and Chris Cadot to do what every BMX rider in Canada does or wishes they could do in the winter, go somewhere warmer. He shot a bunch of photos on assorted cameras and sent through a recap of their trip. Read what he had to say about the Lone Star state and check out his photos below.

14 days in Austin, TX. The land of guns and big tittied blondes. Nah, actually our experience wasn’t like that at all, although we did see a couple seedy girls in the airport and dodged getting involved in a prostitution ring in this bar called Barbs on their gay night. We actually found ourselves in the city of Austin which felt like it had no retiring community and was just flooded with young people and barely touched spots. Even with the skyline the city has, Austin is actually built out and not up. It covers 770 square kilometers giving plenty of land to roam. I mean we’ve all seen tons of Texas spots in videos, but it’s kind of hard to really comprehend how much shit there is to ride there until you see it for yourself. I think the leeway of having 14 days there also gave us enough time to appreciate it and just enough time to miss home as well. Here’s some of the photos from the trip that haven’t been on the internet yet.

A while back we hit up a bunch of FU members to get some words ready for the Launch of FU5: Guy Stuff. We asked them to put together a quick paragraph on basically anything about the filming of FU5. The dvd is officially available in Canada now and is likely to get alot of attention real soon, it is by far the best of the FU series. Something that is consistent throughout FU5 and all the FU dvds is that the FU homies have alot of fun riding bikes together. There’s alot of good riding, good times, good filming and good editing in FU5, keep dvds alive and grab a copy, support guystuff all day.
