Brad Hill Tag

It appears the 11th iteration of the critically acclaimed Eye Sore series has been hijacked. The newly formed, Vancouver based shop Atlantis, has risen above the tides and hit up the streets. These hard Haida pirates will hijack any tanker, tugboat, or dingy in the Georgia Straight. Look out!

Back in February of this year I had the hopes of starting a BMX ‘zine, more or less to fill the gap that opened up due to the disappearance of The Union Press. With that inspiration, it wouldn’t have made any sense for me to not hit up the man behind it, Brad Hill. For all those who don’t know, Bobby has been pushing Canadian BMX through his involvement with BMXFU & The Union Press for many years. He’s more recognized for his work behind the camera rather than in-front of it, which is a damn shame because the man can do one hell of a peg-chink. This Bike Check & shit-shooting session was thought to be lost but, due to the miracle that is modern email, it was recovered. Give it a read and then go watch the original Bobby’s Mixtape if you have a brain & some spare time.

Think Corey Walsh only knows how to ride through complicated obstacle courses? Think again. Brad Hill sent over these two images of Corey blasting and jumping at Hastings in Vancouver.

Also check below for footage from this past weekend’s Texas Toast contest in Austin where Corey was the first rider to successfully make it through the Gauntlet of Death. Congrats!

Orlando is back with another short edit for his proverbial bike company The Make. Short and sweet is how you can describe it, and nowhere else will you see a blend of UK riders like Tommy Curtain, Chicken, and Marv alongside west coast Canadians such as Jeff Evans, Brad Hill, Andrew Schubert, and Jordan Hango. Oh, and not to mention Rick Flair.

Summer is officially here, get out there, ride bikes and have good times with your buds.
A fun afternoon with Matt Desson, Jeff Evans, Andy Roode and Brad Hill at Tsawwassen, BC while it rained everywhere else in Vancouver.

Following up the first World Deece starting Roster Mixtape is a tough act to follow but James Dean and fellow Vancouver shredders (Carl Arnett, Chance Campbell, Chris Henry, Drew Morton, Grat Cox, James Dean, Jordan Hango, Ky Brisebois, Mike Matsen, Orlando, Brad Hill, Regan Miller, Ryan Hiebert and Thomas Arden) have really killed it in this V2 mixtape. There’s a ton of rad stuff from the World Deece super pro team throughout so hit play already and get trippy.

Filmed and edited by James Dean, check out Worlddeece.com

Our friend and regular contributor Brad Hill is set to have a solo photography show next month on March 8th starting at 8:00pm. It’ll be at the Niagara Artists Centre in St. Catharines, ON so if you are anywhere in the Southern Ontario area we recommend you come out. He has been living in BC for the majority of the last year and will be showing a variety of photographs of his west coast life, which will be available for purchase, as well as a photobook and some other items. Come out and support this event.
