This is just a reminder that the Canadian premiere for the Hunt DVD is happening tomorrow immediately following the Taz contest in Montreal. This dvd is really good, Dillon’s part is crazy, come out and check it!
The Weakerthans are an awesome band out of Winnipeg. The band even has some roots in bmx (Jason Enns rocking a few Weakerthans t-shirts back in the day and Props using some of their songs way back when). On April 19th they released We’re the Weakerthans and We’re from Winnipeg as a digital download on Itunes Canada, which was originally released in 2010 on dvd. The film is an awesome documentary of their cross country tour which started in St John’s, and ended in Whitehorse. With over 20 shows in big-city venues and tiny small-town taverns, it’s quite a trip. Check it out if your into that sort of thing or at least check out the band to find a bunch of awesome songs from some Canadian boys.
Chris Silva of Sour Fever hooked up this Embassy exclusive trailer for their upcoming dvd. We also hit up Silva to see what’s up with the new dvd, check it after the jump. Don’t forget to check out the video premiere at CORE BMX & Boards, Saturday October 29th at 5pm if your in the Toronto area.
Last week we posted up the Andrew Schubert interview, in the interview he mentions one of the best trips he’s been on was the RV trip this past summer. Here’s the edit they put together from the trip, looks like a damn good time.
Last night in Las Vegas was the world premiere of The Hunt BMX video contest. If you’ve been following this site for a while you would know that some time back we were asked to participate. Now finally after many months and countless hours searching, riding, filming, and editing we are happy to announce that Dillon Lloyd won second place with his video part filmed and edited by our own Jeremy Deme for Northern Embassy. We couldn’t be more stoked about the achievement for both Dillon and Jeremy. Congratulations go out to the both of them for all their hard work. If you live in Canada, don’t forget that you will get your first chance to see all the whole video when we premiere it after Le Taz for the Pepsi Pro/Am Contest.
Chris Silva has been quietly filming away all summer with the Sour Fever team, and is premiering their DVD on Saturday, October 29th at 5:00pm at CORE BMX and Boards (1578 Queen St. East Toronto, ON). He says it features full sections from himself, Steven Moxley, Ian Christison, James Barton, Chase Davidson, Chijioke Okafo, and a mix section with tons of friends. Come out and check it out before the rest of your Halloween weekend night begins. Also check back real soon for an exclusive interview/trailer with Silva about the dvd.
Austin Odgenal and Aaron Cheng summer fun mix, shredding straight out of Calgary. Just when you think this edit can’t get any better you spot the Embassy hat, too good. Click that HD button.
