If you hadn’t heard about the BMXFU premiere for their FU5 DVD, titled Guy Stuff, then you must be living under a rock, on the moon, with your fingers in your ears. As kings of promotion, they hyped up the events of their premiere non-stop, plastering banners and info all over the internet. With promises of an upscale venue, Paul Hoerdt comedy routine, and a dubstep DJ, I thought it would be an interesting change from the regular video premiere routine. I hadn’t been to Niagara Falls since I was a kid, so we (Harley Hasket, Trent Barker, Carl Arnett, Leland Nightingale and myself) decided to venture down for the event. Click below to check out photos from our time at the BMXFU5 premiere party.
Cole was out here tearing shit up in Van for a week. Heres the proof.
Every once in a while an edit drops that makes you glad the internet exists. This is one of them. Nathan Royes of North Vancouver kills everything in his path and Jeremy Cox kills it behind the lens. These guys put in some serious work for this edit, filming for a good second half of this summer. Jeremy shows how good night shots can look with a few dope light setups, not to mention amazing colors/filming throughout the entire edit. Two young guns, remember both those names!
It was Jordan Krupa’s birthday on Monday, so buy him a drink or ten next time you see him. Tomorow’s the world premiere of FU5: Guy Stuff. It gets started around 8PM at 4437 Queen Street in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Big thanks to Charlie Crumlish for hooking up this photo. Shout out to Charlie, Bobby and all the FU homies for putting in work for what is sure to be another dope DVD. Check back soon for a review of Guy Stuff.
Mike Cardin with a dope MTL iphone summer edit. More after the jump.
Matt Walser is rad dude who shreds hard on a bike. Isaac Barnes put together this dope interview of Matt for the EMBASSY. Matt’s one of the most under the radar shredders in Canada, read on.
If you’re anywhere around Calgary this weekend be sure to check out the Hunt premiere going down at BMX Gallery on Saturday at 6pm.
It’s Halloween, so get your costumes ready. Although whatever you come up with, chances are it won’t be as good as what Ben Kaufmann came up with.
