THE NORTHERN EMBASSY

The dude Ian Fleming just sent through this great little nugget from a trip to London with Andrew Phillips, Alexis Leger, Matt Comeau, Paul Slaunwhite, Colin Kenny, Harrison Forward and Damien Maclean. Although it looks like they had a great time and rode a bunch of amazing spots, they probably didn’t enjoy it one bit because there were no hydrants around :/ smh.

The Bad 4 Life boys have been keeping warm the last couple winters in rural Saskatchewan. Join Jarek Mus, Zach Lokken, and esteemed barn owner, Brodie Gwilliam as they get weird indoors. This is Canadian creativity [and resourcefulness] at its finest!

Wow okay this is amazinggg. Spencer Ryan and “Calamari Mike” Depetrillo teamed up to craft this beautiful piece of work. Spencer’s the best rider and Mike holds it down behind the VX. Watch this and watch it again and then again.

Slade sent this one through, featuring himself, Kostya Chimkovitch, Jon Fredlund and John Thompson. I’m assuming that Kostya put the video together, since he’s been rolling around with a camera lately. It’s a pretty nice little tour of the parks around the Okanagan these days, with some killer riding. The parks get AMAZING near the end of the trip, so you’ll want to hang on for that.

Bonus trivia – the rail that Kostya crashes on in the first clip (and later pulls) was first done by pro skater Ryan Smith as the ender in his Nobodys part, in 1997. That video also featured this classic part from Simon Barry (that you should watch).

The 3rd annual Joyride150 X Space Brace Street Invitational went down January 13th, and as usual it was an absolute blast. The usual culprits were in attendance, with some new faces trying to leave their mark on the Joyride Street Plaza. Huge shoutout to Joyride150 for always giving us a warm place to hoot and holler at each other. Thanks to all the sponsors that make this thing awesome! Filmed by Jeremy Kappert, Landon Barnes, and Ruthless Aussie.

Justin Schwanke came through with his newest installment of Weird & Revered which features him and his homies riding their crazy backyard ramp setup. Pedaling through grass to get speed would be crazy hard, but these dudes manage to make it look easy.
