I was searching for an old post on the site recently and stumbled upon this video again after not having seen it since Mike Cardin fist made it. I’ve always loved the mood of this video, and the fact that he shot the whole thing off the cuff from his phone. The caption “it has a credit section feel to it more than anything” sums it up perfectly. With the entire country currently under various states of spring thaw (or some places still buried under deep snow and ice), this might be the pick-me-up you need right now to remind you how great summer is, wherever you are located.
We spent the afternoon at Joyride 150 the other day and Chris Silva banged out this quick 5 clip edit in their street plaza. Guest clips from Leland Nightingale and myself (Prashant Gopal).
Montreal’s youth/Imported crew coming through with a dope winter Taz edit featuring a bunch of young MTL shredders including Jordane Dubois, Justin Hughes, Dillon Lloyd, Turik, Kamil, Vlad, Carlos, Dave, Kev, and Max. Filmed and edited by Vlad P.
Andrew Schubert knows what’s up. I’m always stoked on anything he films/ edits. Here we have Andrew Schubert, Darcy Peters, Aaron Cheng, Sam Jepson, and Colton Ponto on a recent trip from Calgary to San Diego. Thanks to Isaac Barnes for linking this up!
We don’t have much info on this one but it features Tristan Sweet who is 16 years of age and a master of icepicks! Filmed and edited by Josh Barons in what looks like the Sunshine Coast?
You probably remember Chase from numerous Sour Fever web edits and his banging Arizona edit. Chase shreds and this edit proves just that.
This section is made up of a bunch of footage that Travis Burroughs shot in 2006. I think we were trying to film sections for Lazer, Sexsmith and Hango but they never came together. Regardless, there’s some great stuff in here and an ender that’s truly ridiculous. Sexsmith has been pretty quiet on the footage front for a while due to injury, but word is that he and JT are working on something right now – that’s a very good thing.
It’s that time of the year where the majority of the BMX population invades the small town of Tallin, Estonia for arguably the biggest BMX contest of the year, Simple Session. This year has a strong contingent of the new generation of Canadian shredders with Dillon Lloyd returning for the second time, along with first timers Brandon Webster and Mike Gray. This event is comprised of a who’s who list of the top riders around the world, so it’s great to see such strong Canadian talent included. Like past years, they will be streaming the event live online all weekend here, or you can catch all the highlights and best-of edits that will surely be pouring in online next week. Good luck to our countrymen!
