THE NORTHERN EMBASSY

God dam (see what I did there?), Amos Franke and Adam Piatek worked there way to what is possibly the most scenic dam in British Columbia, and thankfully our very own Zach Rampen was there to catch it all for his camera. Hopefully this jump starts your weekend plans to go on an adventure.

Here’s our version of the 2014 Canadian BMX Day Jam which took place at Richmond Green Skatepark July 5th, 2014. Webster busted his ankle half way through the jam so you may notice alot of clips from only half the park, a trip to the hospital is the reason. Way of the Road. Heal up Webster! If you haven’t already checked out Justin Browne’s edit of the jam check it here.

Orlando is back with another short edit for his proverbial bike company The Make. Short and sweet is how you can describe it, and nowhere else will you see a blend of UK riders like Tommy Curtain, Chicken, and Marv alongside west coast Canadians such as Jeff Evans, Brad Hill, Andrew Schubert, and Jordan Hango. Oh, and not to mention Rick Flair.

My buddy Ian Peters and Reed Unrau took a 5 day trip over to Thunder Bay, Ontario over the summer holidays. There he met up with some local riders and filmed some clips around the city, someone’s awesome backyard ramps and at a dope looking skatepark along the shore of Lake Superior.

I met Stephane Sum the other day, and he was mentioning how just earlier in the evening he finished filming for this video. He had a bunch of questions for me about our Hidden Gems contest and said he was going to jump straight in to filming for that now that he accomplished all the things he wanted for this edit. Check out his hard work in this video with some serious kink rail action. Looking forward to what Stephane has next.

We’ve had a lot of people contact us already telling us they are filming for our Hidden Gems contest, and Ricky Kehoe was one of them. He also sent us this video of himself from last summer which left us scratching our heads wondering why we hadn’t seen or posted it before. It’s a great example of a video with it’s own authentic style and creativity, which is what we like to see. Using a Joy Division track didn’t hurt either. We’re looking forward to what Ricky films this year for our contest too, and if you haven’t already, go check out all the rules and info for our Hidden Gems contest, which is open until September 23rd, and you and your filmer/editor could win some amazing prizes.
