“Last week we got very disheartening news that our trail spot was getting demolished. We have been working on these jumps for the last two years and finally got them somewhat running. The clips in this video are from our few sessions over the last couple of months.
To anyone who understands how much work goes into a spot like this will understand how disappointing it is when you get news like this. It amazes me how in countries like Canada it is so hard to persue the sport we are all so passionate about. Everyone claims to be so open minded and says it’s great when you go chase your passions. Sure doesn’t feel that way when multiple spots have gotten plowed and everywhere you go we get kicked out of spots and even parks.
Even with shit news like this we will keep trying to open minds and grow the scene here in Lethbridge. Hopefully one day the city will let us have a spot to build and ride. Keep on givenr’

Enjoy the video because it’s the last you’ll see from this amazing spot.” Eddie Dyck

I’ve always been stoked on Justin’s videos, the personalities of Justin and his friends really come through to give a “just having fun” feel and this video is no different. I’ve known of Justin for a while through old BMX forums and Facebook, and was stoked when he hit me up to chill for a day while on a layover in Halifax on his way to Germany. I could finally make that connection to the dudes having a blast in his edits. Tons of awesome looking German spots that him and Thomas Henderson (and others) killed.

When Ian Fleming suggested this edit for TBT I was super stoked. It’s been a bit since we’ve seen some Greg Flag footage and if there’s anything this world could use more of it’s Greg footage.

Greg is the kind of guy who can film a video part in a few days. In fact, the first time I ever met Greg we filmed a clip of the craziest thing I’d ever seen done at the Montreal Olympic stadium, at that time. Greg moved to Montreal from Halifax somewhere around 2007.

A few interesting facts about this part, we filmed this Presence dvd over the course of a year and made trips from Montreal to Toronto, Boston, NYC, Philly, Burlington, Quebec city, and more. Greg was really into David Bowie at the time. The Montreal scene was really tight at this time but Greg and Corey Dewey were really pushing each other riding wise and it was amazing to see. Every spot they’d have ideas for each other and you’d often hear them say “I’ll try this if you try this” which almost always lead to them rolling away from something crazy.

The very last Presence DVD will be filmed over the course of 2015, stay tuned.

With the work on his new home and osteoarthritis back problems, Babineau has had a busy year but still put in work for this 2014 ”La Cribs” Bikeshop edit.

“Tadros “Teddy” Eyob killed it (and his teeth too) for his welcome edit to killemall distro! Shredding done mainly in the Calgary Albert area.

Filming credit to the homies (Jay, Quintin, & Owen)

Teddy rides for BMX Gallery in Calgary, Alberta.”

Andrew Schubert’s been filming for this one most of the year and it shows. So much good stuff throughout. October 2014 is officially Canada’s month, so many rad edits dropping!

The names Sean Tiffin or Riley Abramyk might not ring a bell for you yet but I’m sure they will after watching this. Sean and Riley absolutely killed the streets of Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta over the Summer of 2014. It was great getting to ride and film with these guys this past year and I’m looking forward to what’s next. Both of them are capable of some pretty absurd things on a 20″ bicycle so hit play! – Jared Chilko

Coming up through the ranks over the years, Ryan Eles just found himself a spot in the Federal Family. Ryan throws down some smooth moves across Ontario and Montreal to the backing tracks of DJ Kool. This edit has me reminiscing over summer and middle school dances. Congrats Ryan!
