For two years in New England, Fat-Trax was my bmx family. I was very stoked that Greg, Matt, Seth, James and Colby could join our crew of north westerners for this trip. The shop itself is a mainstay in the New England scene – owned by an old skier, but run by locals in the bmx, skate and snowboard scenes. The New England crew covered the most ground of all of us, branching off to hit Colorado after everyone else headed home.

Each year, I’ll map out a course of skateparks that I want to ride in a new part of America and invite a few carloads of friends that I’ve met over the past two decades of riding bmx. As many of us get older, these trips are a way to remind ourselves of simpler times when we didn’t have jobs, kids, or significant others. To be clear, adulthood is great and I think there are amazing benefits to all of those things, but every once in a while it’s therapeutic to be able to set the every day heavy lifting aside and hit the road with the only concerns being where to camp and how long we’ll last at a bunch of epic concrete giants before security, darkness or exhaustion forces us to move on.

Cary Lorenz brought a 35MM camera and captured this adventure perfectly (on film!). We’ll be posting more photos and an edit from our trip through Idaho and Utah in the days to come.

One of Ontario’s best kept secrets, Dean Hartley made the trip to Le Taz in Montreal to film his welcome to Radio edit. Mitch Radcliffe filmed and edited it wonderfully and Dean came through in typical Dean fashion, tons of ridiculous stuff looking way too casual.

This is awesome, great vibe all around, good times from Van Island. Further proof that park footy can be sick to when done right.

Oh man. DWOK master mind, Jack Leonard, just dropped this tight as hell video filmed by Mason Gray and edited by himself. Starts off with some awesome, Odyssey commercial inspired animations that Jack created of himself riding, then moves into a minute of fresh cruising in a timeless style. If you have a head on your shoulders you’ll hit that play. Great watch, will watch again, so will you.

Zach St Clair is a young Timmins/Markham/TO shredder who is known for his riding and as of late spot searching. Maybe a lesser known thing about Zach is that he’s also very talented behind the lens, wether it be filming or taking pictures. He was nice enough to put together this awesome 2015 photogallery for NE featuring some of his Ontario homies, check it.

  • Ryan eles with a crook 180 at a super sick spot in the city. Ryan slammed into the wall hard atleast 3 times halfcabbing out of this one.
  • Spencer with a toothhanger to 180 into traffic on a busy road in the east side.
  • Joel Fortin getting so much pop mid hard 180 bar. Jeremy Deme putting in work behind the lens as always.

  • Joel Fortin with another picture perfect example of how much pop he has.

“Winters up in Canada always seem a little long so it was rad to get a session in February. Dylan Oler, Scott Davis and myself just went for a chill bike ride and ended up riding the Taber park. Just another day on the bikes, feels good to ride again.
Filming and editing this one was a lot of fun. Enjoy.

There’s some dudes that you simply stop everything your doing and watch their edit. Jordan Hango is one of those dudes. You don’t want to miss this one, Hango is on another level, every single time he rides.
