Last night in Las Vegas was the world premiere of The Hunt BMX video contest. If you’ve been following this site for a while you would know that some time back we were asked to participate. Now finally after many months and countless hours searching, riding, filming, and editing we are happy to announce that Dillon Lloyd won second place with his video part filmed and edited by our own Jeremy Deme for Northern Embassy. We couldn’t be more stoked about the achievement for both Dillon and Jeremy. Congratulations go out to the both of them for all their hard work. If you live in Canada, don’t forget that you will get your first chance to see all the whole video when we premiere it after Le Taz for the Pepsi Pro/Am Contest.

Chris Silva has been quietly filming away all summer with the Sour Fever team, and is premiering their DVD on Saturday, October 29th at 5:00pm at CORE BMX and Boards (1578 Queen St. East Toronto, ON). He says it features full sections from himself, Steven Moxley, Ian Christison, James Barton, Chase Davidson, Chijioke Okafo, and a mix section with tons of friends. Come out and check it out before the rest of your Halloween weekend night begins. Also check back real soon for an exclusive interview/trailer with Silva about the dvd.

Andrew Schubert shreds. Alot of riders in Alberta probably already know that but for the rest of Canada, we hit him up to see what he’s been up to this past year and what he’s got planned for the near future. Expect big things from this guys real soon. Read on.

The first of a few Canadian premieres for The Hunt DVD is happening October 22nd, at the E51 Pepsi Pro Am contest at the TAZ skatepark in Montreal (8931 Ave. Papineau, Montreal). The premiere is going down immediately following the contest which should be around 6-7pm. There will be a few other premieres going down in Canada after this one, we will be posting those up as soon as dates and locations are confirmed.  If your anywhere around Montreal make the trip out to see this crazy dvd and also Dillon’s ridiculous part…

Today is a huge day for 99% of Canadians, day 1 of the 2011-2012 NHL season. The Winnipeg Jets are back, Dustin Byfuglien is holding it down up there and pretty much all the canadian teams are looking solid this year. Above is Matt Desson supporting the Canucks during their cup run last spring. Here’s to hockey for keeping our winters exciting.
