Danny Cox is a Calgary legend. This video came up on BMXboard recently and it’s too good not to share. I have no idea where this guy is today, but last I heard he was riding road bikes across continents. Ten years ago he was crankflipping, cranksliding and pushing the boundaries of the GT Snowracer.

Hango by Ridgeway.

Today’s post is the longest of the series, but it’s awesome. Ridgeway sent over a four page long paragraph detailing the ins and outs of our trip and we’ve gathered a bunch of photos and four or five short edits to go along with the spots that we visited.

TRIP STORY

EMBASSY MONTANA

This is dope, summertime fun from Vancouver island, captured by Kerr.

“Filmed over the summer of 2012 in Victoria, Vancouver and cortes island all in British Columbia, Canada. Riders in order of appearance: Mike Carroll, Thomas Arden, Riley Aaron, Zane Hudson, Jordan Fair, Clay Venne, Colin Fried, Jesse Turnbull, Dan Irwin, Tyler Zago, Spencer Wilson, Riota Niiyama and Jesse Hildebrandt.”

Filmed and edited by Kerr Bilsland.

Mat Ridgeway shreds on a bike and Zach Rampen shreds behind the lens, pretty damn good combination and pretty damn good results! Mat takes a real different approach to riding and it’s alot of fun to watch, real fast and refreshing. This edit is the best thing you’ll see in a while, check it out and then watch it again!

“Here’s a mix edit made up from 1664 team riders Jordan Dwan, Andrew Schubert, and Isaac Barnes. Jordan’s clips were all filmed on a week stay in Edmonton. Andrew, and Isaac’s clips were shot while Dwan was out, and on weekend trips between Edmonton and Calgary. All while just chillin with friends and having a good time, Enjoy.”

“Hello once again! I usually have some sort of story to tell when it comes to everything, I guess I’m some sort of inner nerd or something. I mean, I’m the type of person who will pick a spot because of the colour of the wall etc. Always thinking everything out, maybe it’s some sort of aesthetic OCD that I’m unaware of. Just like my constant quest to find the holy grail of flannel. My mind is as fucked as getting in to downtown Toronto in rush hour! From hating my tattoos one day, to loving them the next, hating my clips then coming back to realize they are not that bad, I’m always in a constant struggle when it comes to stuff I create or decide to do. I’m elaborating on this, because every time I make these mixes, I end up hating them by the end. Is that a good thing? Some may say it is but it’s pretty damn annoying. This is one of these mixes, I’m not too fond of it anymore but hell, I’ll let you guys judge for yourselves by clicking HERE. Enjoy!”

Our friend Brad Hill (aka Bobby) just released his summer mixtape that he’s been working on. It’s stacked with footage from friends across Canada too long to list, and edited to an appropriately pairing of music from classic oldies to Juicy J. Start your morning off with right with this watch.
