7: Butte
Butte is known for it’s strip mining, but it’s also full of cool old buildings and has an average (for Montana) skatepark.
We were the only ones there and the sign said “no bikes”. What a sign like that means is “go ahead, grind the pool coping”. The park sat in what felt like the desert, with two separate pools and a small street section. As with most of the parks we rode the street course sucked. Montana doesn’t care about street, their thing is bowls. Massive crazy bowls.
