While Englishman Mike King was in Vancouver earlier this year filming this video with Dillon Lloyd for Vans, he stayed with riders across the city and put together this Vancouver mix edit from his leftover footage. Check out Taylor Elvy, Greg Flag, Adam Piatek, Dave Scott, Dillon Lloyd, and Matt Desson all getting down and go take a poke around the new FFWDBMX site.

Earlier this year in the spring Matt Perrin took a ride on a Greyhound bus from Winnipeg to Montreal. Anyone who has ever ridden the bus any distance in this country knows it’s not an easy ride, let alone for 1.5 days of constant travel. To coincide with this new edit (filmed in Winnipeg, Montreal, Brandon, and Kenora) we asked Matt a few questions about both cities, and the good and the bad of traveling across country by bus. Check that out below.

Rich Redmond and a gang of Ottawa boys took their inaugural trip to Sudbury to ride trails, skateparks, and jump off of humungous bridges. More coverage and photos here.

There’s been a lot of west coast coverage lately, but this video is worth it for the handplant alone. John Alden left Calgary for two weeks in Vancouver and put together quite a bit of footage (in such a short period of time) for Ten Pack. His ability to put a solid line together has come a long way, and the line at the 2:16 mark is a good example of this.

We teamed up with MacNeil Bikes to produce two limited edition Northern Embassy branded Fat Cap seats. These seats are a project we have been working on for a while now, and are excited to finally release them. One is a brown synthetic leather that will lighten and fade with use to give your seat a unique appearance. The second is a very grippy and textured black vinyl for those that want to keep their bikes dark. Both seats feature stitching on the nose and rear, our circle logo embossed on the back left, a light weight aluminum bolt and weighs in at 300 grams. Only 70 of each colour were produced, and once they are gone, they are gone for good. For more info, pictures, and a list of shops across Canada that are carrying them visit the Pivotal page we made here, and you can scoop one up in our online store while they last.

Back in May we posted about Trevor Oleniuk’s maiden trip in his new van he purchased and fitted with a bed and living supplies as he set out on a US odyssey. He has long since finished the trip and sent through a few photos and some deep words about what his trip meant to him. Check it all below and you can find more on his site here.

While doing some cleaning in our apartment this evening, my roommate stumbled upon this old clipping from Now Newspaper in Toronto from January 2004, written by Colin Field about the now long defunct ICC Warehouse. While being published almost ten years ago, I think the same sentiment and ideology could be said about any indoor ramp setup anywhere in Canada even now. Take a closer look and read it after the link below.
