Just a reminder the D-Structure jam is going down this weekend. If your in the Montreal area head out to D-structure for a good time! Dillon Lloyd, Jordane Dubois, Greg Hen, Chris Silva and Chijioke Okafo are amongst some of the dudes who will be in attendance.

The boys over at 3Ride hooked up some info on the Quetico jam that is happening this weekend. Apparently Mike Heaton has transported a bunch of ramps (including the old Metro ramps) just past Thunder Bay, ON to Quetico private school. Who wouldn’t want to ride some of the old Metro ramps? Today we begin a new feature called 5 on 5. We will be hitting up some filmers and riders about their top 5 BMX video parts/ or edits, starting with Justen Soule. From Drew Bezanson’s epic Joyride edits, to Demolition’s Last Chance DVD and lots in between, Justen Soule is a Canadian videographer who has been a part of alot of amazing projects. Start your day off with a little Diller. Dill’s been on Vans for a while now but here’s his welcome to edit. Dill filmed this between rain in Vancouver, with a busted foot, over 3 weeks.
It’s summer, the weather is awesome and everyone is out shredding. This also means there’s a bunch of rad events going down across Canada. This one is still a couple weeks away but if your anywhere around Montreal, start planning to get out to D-structure in St Julie, QC July 27th.
BMX Gallery 4130 are running a rad Ride to Glory contest from July 6 till July 20th. Click here for all the details:
“Here are the details for the Ride to Glory contest that we are doing this July. The contest is very simple, get a group of friends (or do it solo) and get as many of the 70 odd tasks completed and win a HUGE prize pack. Most tasks are worth 50 points, but some have bonus points, or are even worth 200 points…. some examples are:
In order to complete a task you must have video evidence. You can either Instagram video each task with #BG4130R2G and your team name hashtagged, or compile clips to make a 5 min or less edit (hint bonus points for edit). We will also be dropping BONUS TASKS on our site, so keep an eye out for them.
There is no limit on team size, so if you want to get every rider in your town in on it, that is totally cool. The only thing is that you must hand in your team roster BEFORE you get the task list. Teams may register at the shop starting on July 6th, or email us your team roster, and we will email the task sheet if you are from out of town. If you are over 18, please ask for the 18+ tasks as well…”
