2012 Toronto BMX Jam

2012 Toronto BMX Jam

The 2012 Toronto BMX Jam is quickly approaching. It has longstanding been the biggest BMX event in Canada, and the first major event of the year. I’m aware that some riders may feel that the once momentous event has evolved in to nothing more than a dull roar to signify the end of winter, but I believe that this year’s event may change that. The often rumoured Metro Jam series ramps are reportedly finally being brought out of storage and used on the course, along with brand new wooden ramps being built for the event. You can check out a 360 degree view of the course in the video above.

Along with a mix of professional riders from Reed Stark to Drew Bezanson and Dennis Enarson, this year’s event will also include light hearted events such as a game of B.I.K.E., a footdown contest, and Darryl Nau as the event announcer. To me it sounds like this year’s event is shaping up to be the best one in years. Make sure you make it out to the Toronto BMX Jam from March 2nd – 4th.
